At the entrance to the Verzasca Valley, Hotel Ristorante al Lago is located in Vogorno. Pizzo di Vogorno, Madone and Cima dell’Uomo form the distinctive mountain group overlooking the village. Rooms feature a shower/WC, TV and free Wi-Fi. The Berzona bus stop is about 50 metres away. The bright restaurant terrace offers views of Lago di Vogorno. In the evening, grilled meat, fish, pasta, risotto and pizza are served in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. In summer, the 8.1 km hiking trail runs from the Verzasca Dam through Vogorno towards Corippo. Further up the valley are the emerald-green waters of the Verzasca River and the Ponte dei Salti in Lavertezzo. In winter, the 6.1 km Sentiero Valle Verzasca 456 connects Sonogno and Frasco, passing traditional stone houses and following the river. Depending on snow conditions, Sonogno also offers a cross-country skiing trail and an ice rink.
