The Active Resort Bischofsmais at the foot of the Geißkopf offers wonderful views of the surrounding countryside and impresses with its peaceful location, surrounded by coniferous forests and nature. After a relaxing night in one of the comfortably furnished rooms, start your day with an extensive breakfast and round off the evening with a buffet. For a small snack between meals, the restaurant offers an afternoon snack. For pure relaxation, you can enjoy the sauna or wellness area. Younger guests have plenty to discover, from the playroom to the petting zoo. For swimming or simply splashing around, there is a pool with a dedicated toddler area. There are activities for all weather conditions, so both young and old can enjoy a carefree stay.
At this hotel, your four-legged friend is very welcome. After prior registration when making the reservation, the price is 20 euros per dog per night (food not included). Your dog may accompany you in the public areas, but is not allowed in the restaurant or wellness area.
The area around Bischofsmais is incredibly diverse. Visit the gateway to the Bavarian Forest and take a trip to Deggendorf. Regensburg is also well worth a visit. At St. Emmeram Palace, the Thurn und Taxis Schlossfestspiele, for example, take place in summer, while in winter there is an atmospheric Christmas market. Regensburg is still considered the best-preserved medieval city in Germany. How about a trip to the Czech Republic as well? Pilsen and České Budějovice are perfect for a day trip. In Bodenmais, you can discover the Riesloch Waterfalls, the highest waterfalls in the Bavarian Forest, and the Großer Arber, the king of the Bavarian Forest.
